An indicative calculation for a photovoltaic system
The calculator below gives you an indicative range for the system’s power and for the battery capacity. It is a first picture, not a quote: the final result depends on a technical analysis of the roof and of your consumption.

How it is calculated
We start from annual energy consumption and divide it by an assumed specific yield, expressed as the kWh produced in a year by each kWp installed. We apply a factor for orientation and show a range, not a single value. If you give the roof area, we compare the result with the space available, assuming about 5–6 m² for each kWp.
The assumptions are indicative and can be adjusted in the technical analysis: real output varies with the area, the tilt, shading, the equipment and the way the system is used.
How to read the result
- Estimated power (kWp): the range into which a system for your chosen objective might fall;
- Approximate number of panels: calculated with 430 Wp panels, only as an overall picture;
- Battery: an indicative usable capacity, if you choose a battery;
- Backup: a note on the configuration needed, with no promise about how it will perform.
We do not show savings in lei, because they depend on your tariffs, on your consumption profile and on the rules for how surplus energy is credited, as they stand at the time.
